Waste to Fertilizer (Bio-Fermentation System)

Our system is specially designed to treat various types of organic waste. These include waste from livestock industry (eg: manure), animal carcasses, agricultural waste, and table/kitchen waste. Our system treats the organic waste and convert them into pathogen free organic fertilizer.

Our system involves high-temperature aerobic bio-fermentation process for 6-8 hours, at 70-80C eliminating pathogens, bacteria, parasites, viruses, eggs, and weeds. Our system is fully enclosed and equipped with air purifier to treat fermentation gases hence eliminate odor.

Our main client is from livestock industry. Since 2017, poultry farms have been using our solution where up until now, five units of the Bio-Fermentation System have been installed in poultry farms in Kota Kinabalu (Sabah), Jeram (Selangor), and Tanjung Karang (Selangor).

The microbes used in the fermentation process is a high temperature Thermophilic microbes which is different from the microbes available on the market. The propagation rate of the microbes is very high which lead to high microbe activity in decomposing the organic waste, hence shorten the fermentation process. The microbe is able to stand high temperature up to 160°C.

It mainly treats and purifies the ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gases as well as water vapour produced in the fermentation process to ensure zero emissions.

Normally we can make observations based on colour, odour, temperature and other relevant parameters. When the organic fertilizers have a dark brown colour indicating that the chemical properties are stabilized. The moisture content should not exceed 30% and the temperature has to be below 35 °C without any further increase in temperature. The organic fertilizers should also be odorless with a slight fragrance.

The final product from this treatment is organic fertilizer which can be marketed to the agricultural sector. Investors also can develop new products by using organic fertilizer as basic, for example, bio-organic fertilizer and fortified organic fertilizer.

One year depending on the moisture content of the fertilizers. The shelf life of the fertilizers can be increased if they are in the pellet form.

This equipment and technology has been researched by our principal for more than 10 years and launched in the market from 2010 onwards. Currently the equipment is already at the 5th generation edition.
